Its mission is to educate the viewer to the wide range
of possibilities that Studio Furniture presents; the
practical, useful yet sculptural object that, properly
cared for, may serve generations. Steel, bronze, various
woods, concrete, and glass... geometric, organic,
and whimsical... more than a dozen works by artisans

The
truest expression of what is loosely termed
"functional art",
Studio Furniture refers to limited edition or
one of a kind furnishings handcrafted in an
artisan's studio. This installment in the series
is concerned with unusual forms and surface
treatments / materials, including polymer clay
veneers, rubber, reclaimed steel and more. |
A
series of gallery talks by participating artists is
currently being scheduled; visit our website for confirmed
dates.
