ARTIST STATEMENT
In my studio I work in series letting a theme evolve naturally all the while experimenting with new possibilities and techniques.

In this particular series “the wall series” I am focused on creating abstract compositions on semi flat planes by using texture and carved patterns.

My goal is to create contemporary abstract pieces that express a feeling. Quiet, restraint and frenzy are themes depicted in these pieces. This is done with the subtle use of texture light, sheen and composition.
