ARTIST STATEMENT TO COME
My work is influenced and inspired by the precision, machined aesthetics of industrial design. This aesthetic is then intuitively infused with subtleties of the handmade. I think of my brooches as small sculpture to wear. Inspired by the human figure, they are abstract interpretations of gestures and anatomical forms. Each brooch is one of a kind, fabricated from sterling silver and various found objects.
