When creating a metal piece I try to keep in mind that a work of art is notonly to look at, but also to experience as fully as possible through all of the senses. I incorporate differenttextures and layers into myvessels, sculptures and lamps to entice the viewer to investigate the objects more intimately. Sometimes surprises are put in unsuspecting places to reward the individual who makes the effort to look closely. Using as many senses as possible to experience an object may be the most rewarding of all.
